WELCOME TO LAS VEGAS
Entertainment capital of the World!

Las Vegas ("The Meadows" in Spanish) was founded as a city on May 15th, 1905.  At that time, Las Vegas was only 19.18 square miles and had a population of approximately 800.

The Las Vegas Valley has been names as the fastest growing area in the United States.  The good climate, the economy, the job opportunities and the many aminities offered are some of the factors prompting our growth.  Approximately  6,000 new residents move to the "Valley" every month and make it home.

The latest population predictions estimate that the Las Vegas Velley will be home to more that 2 million people by September of 2007.
